Signed or inscribed indistinctly, perhaps "...amach," l.r., and with an illegible mark in ink l.r.
Pen and ink with areas of wash, 8 x 12 5/16 in. (20.0 x 31.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Staining, crease to l.r. corner, acid burn, laid down on paperboard support.
N.B. A possible attribution to Lodewyk Toeput (Ludovico Pozzoserrato) (c. 1550-c. 1603) is noted on an unattributed label affixed to the frame backing paper, but current scholarship does not support this attribution.
