Four George II Sterling Silver Candlesticks, London, 1750-51, John Cafe, maker, bobeches unmarked (two with worn coat of arms), each with a spool-shaped socket on a knopped stem terminating in a spreading foot with engraved coat of arms and shell corners, ht. 9 in., approx. 79.2 troy oz.
Estimate $2,000-4,000

Considerable surface wear, nicks, abrasions, pinprick dents throughout. Bobeches unmarked and most likely later. With wax residue to some interiors.
