Description:

Four-piece William IV Sterling Silver Tea and Coffee Service, London, 1836-37, Charles Fox II, maker, each with chased C-scrolls and foliate arabesques centering a fruit cluster, coffeepot, teapot, sugar bowl, and creamer, coffeepot ht. 9 3/4 in., approx. 83.7 troy oz.

Each with scattered minor pinprick dents, age-typical surface wear (possibly gold-washed initially, only traces remaining) and with engraving removal to vacant cartouche. Coffeepot, creamer, and sugar wobble slightly. Sugar with two larger dents. Coffeepot with chipped loss to heat stops.
