Note: Eduard Nittner (1885-1913) was an Austrian officer of aviation troops and an aviation pioneer. He gained notoriety from his flight on May 3, 1912, during which he crossed the Semmering Pass in an Etrich Pigeon, the first time that an Alpine pass was flown over in Austria.
