Two Commemorative Aviation Items, one depicting a seaplane on water, inscribed "Winner Schneider Cup 1927 Supermarine Napier S.5"; and a single-propeller seaplane trophy for T.C. Stubbs and T. Bellis, 1948-51, on circular wood and metal base, accompanied by a first hand account of the race, approx. ht. 2, lg. 4 1/2, wd. 2 1/2; ht. 2 7/8, base dia. 4 in.

Note: The Coupe d'Aviation Maritime Jacques Schneider, commonly called the Schneider Trophy, was awarded to the winner of a race for seaplanes and flying boats. In 1927, at Venice, Air Vice-Marshal Sidney Norman Webster, an English aviator and senior officer in the RAF, took first place.
