Complete Newton & Co. 10-inch Ebony Quadrant, South Fleet Street, London, pierced ebony frame with brass index arm, vernier and lock-down screw, cross bar plaque reads "Newton & Co. S.Fleet St. London," scale reading 0-100, horizon mirror, two sets of sunshades and ocular lenses, fitted in its original mahogany keystone case with the Newton's Opticians green paper label.
Note: This instrument has been in the consignor's collection for the past forty-five years, the original lacquered surfaces and untouched frame and box reflect its excellent preservation.
