Simon Willard Mahogany Tavern Clock, Boston, c. 1830, turned and glazed wooden bezel over the 11 1/2-in. concave painted iron dial marked S. Willard, lower wood door, eight-day time and strike movement with rack and snail and recoil escapement powered by two lead weights and regulated by a pendulum with round iron rod and brass-faced lead bob, ht. 30 in.
