Mahogany and Oak English Longcase Clock, Thomas Ashton, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England, stepped hood above the eglomise glass, freestanding fluted columns flanking the engraved square dial with applied spandrels and silvered chapter ring, scalloped waist door above the applied panel base, eight-day time and hour-strike movement, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum and two iron weights, ht. 86 in.
