Litchfield Cathedral Striking Skeleton Clock, possibly John Smith & Sons, Clerkenwell, England, c. 1880, three spires atop the lacquered brass skeletonized case, pierced roman numeral chapter ring, six double-screwed pillars, eight-day, chain fusee, time and hour striking on a gong and fall-off quarter-hour-strike on a bell movement, all mounted to a stepped base and brass-cased dome, ht. with dome 18 3/4 in.
