Carved Rosewood Gothic-style Quarter-chiming Mantel Clock, attributed to Winterhalter & Hoffmier, c. 1890, highly elaborate carved case with a tombstone-shaped door frame the composite brass dial with silvered roman numeral applied chapter ring and slow/fast indicator dial in the arch, eight-day quarter-chiming on two gongs chain fusee movement, ht. 27 1/2 in.
Note: The bill from a 2009 restoration performed by Ray Bates of "The British Clockmaker" accompanies the clock.
