Unusual Swedish Rosewood Veneered Boulle Clock and Pedestal, late 18th/early 19th century, gilt female figure and hound adorn the ormolu-mounted case, hinged bubble-glass door, concave painted roman numeral iron dial marked "Clas Berg/Stockholm," with pierced gilt hands, eight-day time, hour, and half-hour strike movement with a crown-wheel escapement, silk thread suspension and pull repeat on demand, all resting on a wall-mounted pedestal base, ht. 43 in.
