Le matador, 1969, edition of 75, published by Maeght Éditeur, Paris, printed by Morsang, Paris (Dupin, 510). Signed "Miró" in pencil l.r., numbered "45/75" in pencil l.l. Color etching with aquatint, drypoint, and carborundum on paper, plate size 42 x 29 in. (106.5 x 73.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Gentle rippling, not examined out of frame.

Provenance: A Massachusetts estate.

Sheet measures approximately 55 x 37 in. and is deckled at the top. Gently light-struck with subtle mat burn at the corners. Two small fox marks l.c. The sheet is not laid down but the window mat is secured to the backing so the full sheet, including the verso, cannot be examined without risking damage to the print. No additional issues to report.
