Due to the careful framing and the apparent fragile nature of the paper, this work was not opened during cataloging or preview. The work is presented in a double sided frame. The drawing is on the front and the inscription is visible on the back. It is on laid paper. There are two small holes in the l.l. corner of the front, a horizontal crease running across the top edge, various small handling crimps, and a restored tear measuring about 2-1/2 inches along the bottom right edge, below and to the left of the signature. Some staining to the reverse, and an area on the lower left where the tear referenced above seems to have been stabilized with rice paper.
Frame dimensions 16 1/4 x 19 3/4 inches.
