Provenance: From the estate of the artist, Spencer, Massachusetts, by descent through the artist's family, purchased from the family by the current owner.

Handwritten label "From Room 1 - 2nd Floor" affixed to the back of the frame.

Extensive fine retouch to fill craquelure in the foreground, with a few dots of retouch to the sky around the blasted tree at left.

Framed dimensions are 33 x 37 1/2 in.
