Ipswich Marshes, 1926, from the published state, edition of 150 (Paff, 257). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l. Drypoint on paper, plate size 7 7/8 x 9 7/8 in. (19.9 x 25.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Pale staining and/or foxing, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: Thought to have hung at the Bonny Hall Plantation in Beaufort County, South Carolina. Arthur Lyman owned the plantation from 1925 to 1934. The work descended in Lyman's family to the current owner.
