Cherry and Figured Maple Shell-carved Scroll-top High Chest, Connecticut, mid-18th century, the top section with central shaped plinth and three turned finials, three short and four long drawers, set into a lower section of long drawer and three short drawers, the central short drawer in each section carved with a large fan above a smaller one, all on a shaped skirt with turned pendants joining scroll-carved cabriole legs ending in pad feet, brass pulls appear to be original, refinished, ht. 87, lower case wd. 37 1/4, dp. 20 1/2 in.
