Paint-decorated Pine Box, Charlestown, Massachusetts, 1833, the top showing a brick meeting house or church, the front showing a fanciful building and house on a river, the sides with a landscape and buildings, the back showing "Prospect Hill.," all on ball feet, ht. 5 1/4, wd. 10, dp. 8 in.
Note: The interior has a handwritten label reading "Token this box was once a component part of the first Congregational Meeting House located on Town Hill. Built 1783 and taken down in 1833 Charlestown Octr. 25 1833," ht. 5 1/4, wd. 10, dp. 8 in.
