Description:

Black-painted Maple Slant-lid Desk, probably New Hampshire, late 18th century, the thumb-molded lid opens to a straight-fronted interior of drawers and open compartments, on a case of four graduated drawers and molded bracket base, ht. 42 1/2, wd. 36 1/4, dp. 19 1/2 in.
