Seven Early Brass Candlesticks, 17th to 19th century, a single capstan candlestick with shaped drip catcher and mark on the pan, a pair of tall ring-stem candlesticks with broad drip catchers, a petal-base candlestick, a tall pricket candlestick, and a pair of brass candlesticks with faceted knops and round bases, ht. to 16 1/2 in.
Provenance: Petal-base candlestick from David Stockwell, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, May 2, 1961; capstan candlestick from Katherine Prentis Murphy Collection, O. Rundle Gilbert, September 7-9, 1967, Lot 777.
