Early Document Box, 17th/18th century, the lid with chamfered edges secured to the nailed body by snipe hinges, the lid secured with an iron hook, ht. 5 1/2, wd. 10 1/4, dp. 6 1/2 in.

Note: Box was found in the Champlain Valley, New York.
