George II Sterling Silver Coffeepot, London, 1748-49, Richard Gurney & Thomas Cook, maker, with engraved coat of arms and acanthus-capped spout, ht. 9 3/8 in., approx. 21.7 troy oz.
Probable engraving removal to coat of arms- silver surface at the center of the coat of arms slightly weaker (still strong overall) also with some surface inconsistencies to interior. Otherwise in good overall condition with only light age-typical wear. Lid unmarked.
