Rihouet Paris Hand-painted Porcelain Dessert Service, France, 19th century, cobalt ground gilded and polychrome enamel decorated with bird cartouches to borders and central birds in landscape settings, including twelve teacups and saucers with an extra teacup; twenty-one plates, dia. 6 3/8; three plates, dia. 8 1/8; four plates, dia. 8 5/8; and four cake plates, lg. 10 in., printed factory marks.

Tea cups; One with an extensive hairline and rim abrasion. Scattered gilt wear to rims.
Saucers: One with a 1/2" rim chip; inner gilt rim wear scattered wear.
6 3/8" plates: Scattered gilt rim wear throughout; five with ground chips to footrim; one with surface abrasion; one with a 1/4" rim chip.
8 1/8" plates: Each with ground spot under the base.
8 5/8" plates: One with surface abrasion.
10" cake plates: Each in very good condition throughout.
