The Man of Sorrows by the Column, 1509, from The Engraved Passion, 1508-13 (Bartsch & Hollstein, 3; Meder, 3 d or e/e). Monogrammed and dated within the plate. Engraving on paper, image size 4 5/8 x 2 7/8 in., framed.
Condition: Top and bottom margins added (just encroaching on the image),repaired ragged tear from the left edge, grazing the bottom of the monogram, and across to Christ's forearms.
