Georgian Sterling Silver Tankard, with worn marks probably for Dublin, maker's mark to handle "WT" probably for William Townsend, lid unmarked, dome-top lid with floriform motif to center, cylindrical body with fluting throughout centering an engraved coat of arms, ht. 8 in., approx. 29.7 troy oz.
Light surface wear to surface. Thumbpiece with rough silver solder possibly a later re-working (see images). Later chasing throughout.
