Wedgwood Encaustic Decorated Black Basalt Hydria-shaped Vase, England, early 19th century, upturned loop handles, iron red, black, and white depiction with Nike to one side of a draped and veiled woman with a spear, possibly Hera, opposite a young woman holding a mirror, possibly Aphrodite, leaning on an Ionic colonette, inscribed "No 111" and with impressed mark, ht. 14 1/4 in.
