José Alemany (Spanish, 1895-1951)
Frightened Horse, 1938. A label from Robert Tat Gallery, San Francisco, affixed to the backing indicates that the work is signed and dated on the original overmat and with the artist's Pittsburgh studio stamp on the verso. Gelatin silver print, sight size 11 3/8 x 7 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame.
Exhibitions: This print was exhibited in the José Alemany retrospective at the Fundación la Caixa, Madrid, in 2004.
