Mountains and Clouds, Vermont. Unsigned, identified in inscriptions on the stretcher, identified, titled, and dated "...ca. 1880s" on a label affixed to the backing. Oil on canvas, 20 x 30 in., framed. Condition: Craquelure, tear c.r. repaired with a patch on the reverse, paint losses to edges, scattered areas of flaking with small paint losses, retouch.
