Two Works: Studies of Iron Garden Chairs, 1930-31, printed later. Each signed "Walker Evans" in pencil on the overmat l.r., one signed "Walker Evans" in pencil on the verso l.r., Lunn Gallery stamps on the verso. Gelatin silver prints, image sizes to 6 3/8 x 8 3/8 in. (16.0 x 21.0 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Crop marks in pen on each, subtle emulsion cracks in several corners of the sheet.
Provenance: Photography dealer Harry Lunn Jr., Washington, DC, to a private Massachusetts collection.
