Walker Evans (American, 1903-1975)

Railroad Crossing Sign, 1967. Signed "Walker Evans" in pencil on the overmat l.r., dated on the overmat l.l., Lunn Gallery stamp on the verso. Gelatin silver print on matte Agfa paper, image size 9 5/8 x 9 7/8 in. (24.3 x 25.0 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Good.

Provenance: Photography dealer Harry Lunn Jr., Washington, DC, to a private Massachusetts collection.
Estimate $1,000-1,500

Very subtle dimple in paper l.r. No additional issues to report.
