Walker Evans (American, 1903-1975)

Street Scene, Brooklyn, c. 1931, printed later by James Dow. Signed "Walker Evans" in pencil on the overmat l.r., "WALKER EVANS" and Lunn Gallery stamps on the verso, inscribed "DOW" in pencil on the verso at center. Gelatin silver print, image size 4 7/8 x 6 3/4 in. (12.2 x 17.0 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Minor soiling to overmat.

Provenance: Photography dealer Harry Lunn Jr., Washington, DC, to a private Massachusetts collection.
