Apollo 17, Oversized Photograph Signed by Harrison Schmitt. Large 11 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. photograph on its original 12 x 12 in. mount, signed by Schmitt in the blank margin of the mount to Spoor in blue ballpoint ink, photograph AS17-137-21010, faded, some foxing to mount, colors shifted in a reddish tone; "View of the desolate lunar scape at Station 4 showing scientist-astronaut Harrison H. Schmitt, the lunar module pilot, working at the Lunar Roving Vehicle during the second Apollo 17 extravehicular activity at the Taurus-Littrow landing site. This is the area where Schmitt first spotted the orange soil; Shorty Crater is to the right, and the peak in the center background is Family Mountain; photo was taken by Cernan.
