Roosevelt, Franklin Delano (1882-1945) Typed Letter Signed, Washington, DC, 16 February 1937. Bifolium pale green White House letter paper with conjugate attached, typed over one page. To James D. Evans of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, thanking him for sending a series of letters between Evans and Taft (not present) regarding a proposed reorganization of the Federal Judiciary, [with] a copy of Evans' original letter, and the envelope in which FDR's letter was sent, the letter with a horizontal fold, 9 x 7 in.
