Provenance: Drawn for Lieutenant Edward N. Whittier, to the collection of Don Troiani.

Note: Lieutenant Edward Newton Whittier was a member of the 5th Maine Light Artillery and fought at McKnight's Knoll and Cemetery Hill during the Battle of Gettysburg.
