Martin Thomas Mahogany Veneered Longcase Clock, Plymouth Dock, England, arch-top case with freestanding fluted columns flanking the composite brass dial, high water scale in the arch marked "High Water At Ply Mo Dock," with painted moon phase, roman numeral chapter ring, engraved seconds subsidiary dial, silvered inset calendar aperture and marked below "Martin Thomas Ply Mo Dock," tombstone-shaped line inlaid waist door above the step molded, and turned front foot base, eight-day time and hour strike movement, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum bob, and two associated weights, ht. 82 in.
