Adriaen Jansz van Ostade (Dutch, 1610-1685)
Seven Framed Etchings by or After Ostade, posthumous impressions. Most signed in the plates, all with labels from Birmingham Gallery Inc., Birmingham, Michigan, affixed to the frame backing papers. Sizes to 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 in.
Condition: Toning, trimmed close to or at plate marks, not examined out of frames.
N.B. There is one print tagged as "After Ostade" which depicts a tavern interior with figures at a table in the right foreground, inscribed "OSTADE. F." in the plate l.l., the image size measuring 4 7/8 x 5 3/8 inches.

Subjects include Farmer at the Door, The Rural Tenderness, The Family, and various tavern and kitchen interiors with figures.
