Condition: Losses, retouch, prominent craquelure with flaking and lifting, surface grime.

The retouch is confined primarily to the backgroud to cover the paint losses, with some strokes in the sitter's hair. Minor old retouch to the face and uniform. Craquelure shows areas of lifting and cupping.
