Kashan Lustre Pottery Bowl, Persia, possibly 12th/13th century, deep bowl with straight sides, on a short raised foot, the interior painted in luster with a male and a female in the well, encircled with a band of naskh below a lappet band of spiraling patterns, the exterior with a frieze of arabesque roundels, ht. 4 5/8, dia. 10 3/8 in.
