Red-painted and Polychrome Decorated Bed, Ohio, c. 1820-30, with vase- and ring-turned posts topped by turned and textured acorns, joining a scrolled headboard with a crest terminating in concentric graduated rings, the head and foot rails and posts decorated in a scroll flourish lined in yellow, the headboard with silver stenciled stars and two eagles flanking a heart, ht. 53 1/2, wd. 44 1/2, dp. 69 1/2 in.
