Two-sided "F. Adam" Boot and Shoemaker Trade Sign, Southport, Connecticut, c. 1880, gilt shoe and boot below "F. ADAM" on a black smalted background, applied red-painted edge molding, the heal of the boot inscribed "F.J. LOHR/174/E. Houston.," ht. 22 5/8, wd. 15 in.
