Moravian Pottery & Tile Works Architectural Plaque
Pottery, metal
Doylestown, Pennsylvania, c. 1920
Centered by a relief-decorated scene with ships in burnished clay glaze color with a motto surround Perspective View Of The Town Capitol Of New England And Of The Landing Of Troops In The Year 1768, rust with green glazed outer border with accent tiles, some loss to outer border, the whole mounted in a metal frame with mounting brackets, ht. 25, wd. 30 1/4, tabs 1 3/4 in.
