Provenance: Walter and Eleanor Creese. Mr. Creese was a prominent architectural historian who taught architectural history at the University of Louisville and the University of Illinois. He was also Dean of Architecture at the University of Illinois. The couple bought Scandinavian furniture for their homes in the 1950s and 60s.
