Two large-format vintage gelatin silver prints mounted together on board, images sizes 14 5/8 x 12 7/8 in. (37.0 x 32.4 cm),unmatted.
Condition: Subtle creases from mounting process.
N.B. Lunar Orbiter 2 took these two overlapping photographs from an altitude of about 900 miles during its ninth and tenth orbits around the Moon. Launched on November 6, 1966, Lunar Orbiter 2 was tasked with completing a photographic survey program for Apollo landing sites. It produced 211 photographs during 40 orbits.
