N.B. Irwin and Scott took a series of "tourist" photographs of each other with the American flag in the splendid lunarscape of Hadley landing site. Hadley Delta in the background rises approximately 4,000 meters (about 13,124 feet) above the plain; the base of the mountain is 5 kilometers (3 statute miles) away.
