The lunar surface seen from the Lunar Module after touchdown, Apollo 11, July 20, 1969. Numbered 'NASA AS11-37-5457' (NASA MSC) in red on the recto u.l. margin. Vintage chromogenic print on fiber-based Kodak paper with 'A Kodak Paper' watermark on the verso, image size 7 1/4 x 7 in. (18.3 x 17.5 cm),unmatted.
Condition: Several minor matte areas.

Tranquility: "We'll get to the details of what's around here, but it looks like a collection of just about every variety of shape, angularity, granularity, about every variety of rock you could find."
