Cree Beaded Cloth Leggings and Beaded Garters, Canada, c. 1830, the leggings are made from Hudson Bay blanket material, edged with blue silk and beaded with multicolored pony and seed beads; the garter construction is unique, with the beads strung on sinew, red wool tassels, lg. 23 in.
