Titian Ramsay Peale (American, 1800-1885)

Common Buckeye. Signed and inscribed "TR Peale del" l.r. Watercolor and gouache on paper, sheet size 9 7/8 x 6 3/4 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Toning, scattered foxing, small loss to sheet at u.l. edge, subtle rippling and handling creases.
Estimate $700-900

Loss to the edge measures 5/8 x 1/4 inches at its maximum dimensions and does not reach the near the image itself.
