Francisco de Goya (Spanish, 1746-1828)
Unos à ostros, Plate 77 of Los Caprichos (1799),Harris 112, III (Edition Impressions),a later impression, probably from the 11th or 12th edition. Etching on laid paper, plate size 8 3/8 x 5 3/4 in., unframed. Condition: Mild toning, rippling, hinged to back mat at two places on the reverse, with small brown paper tape remnants at center edges of the reverse, and off white tape applied to left side edge of the reverse.
Provenance: The collection of Professor and Mrs. Jonathan Brown, Princeton.
