Josephine Paddock (American, 1885-1964)
Two New York Ladies' Portraits: Mrs. Fred Wiemann (English Girl) and Miss Annette Decker. Wiemann titled, dated, and signed "...'49/J. Paddock" on the reverse, Decker titled, dated, and inscribed ".../43/ Property of J.P." on the reverse and signed and inscribed "By Miss J. Paddock/115 E 86/N.Y. 28" on the stretcher. Oil on canvasboard and canvas respectively, sizes approximately 24 x 18 in., in the artist's hand-painted frames. Condition: Varnish discoloration, surface grime.
