Molded Sheet Copper Cod Weathervane, probably Massachusetts, c. 1855, flattened full-body form with molded scales and applied crimped sheet copper fins, weathered verdigris surface, (dents, seam separation, minor repair), on stand, lg. 36 in.

Provenance: Reportedly from a house in Sandwich, Massachusetts; Robert S. Walin Antiques, Woodbury, Connecticut; A Cornwall, Connecticut, Collector.
