Four Mennonite Quilts, Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada, c. 1900-20, an Eight Point Star Variation quilt with rows of red, white, and blue stars within a red border; a Bear's Paw variation quilt with red and blue blocks within a blue border; a Pinwheel pattern quilt with pinwheels formed of shades of red and blue cloth; and an Eight Point Star variation quilt compose of nine stars formed from red, yellow, and blue cloth against a light green background, lg. to 92, wd. to 77 in.

Provenance: Eight Point Star Variation quilt from the family of Jeremiah Martin; the Bear's Paw variation quilt made by Mrs. Brubacher near Wallenstein, Ontario; the Pinwheel quilt is from Joseph Metzger, Elmira, Ontario; the Eight Point Star variation quilt thought to have been made by Mrs. Anson Bauman, Lenwood, Ontario.
